The CD-ROM contains two sections:

• Pre Learning where the basic concepts and terminologies are explained through a series of text pages and diagrams. Glossary terms are covered by hyperlinks within the text and a popup explanation.

• Stage 1 where more advanced concepts are explained, Wyeth products are covered in detail, alternative therapies are covered, and competitor products examined, through a series of text pages and diagrams. Glossary terms are covered by hyperlinks within the text and a popup explanation.

Throughout the two sections of learning, progress checks are interspersed where the students knowledge is tested. These tests are in a number of formats, simple choice, true/false, and drag and drop.

Scores are maintained and if the student does not attain a certain pass level they are taken back to the module to review again. If they attain a certain pass level they proceed to the next stage of the learning process.

An email of the students progress check results is emailed through to the relevant training personnel for monitoring and evaluating the students progress through the learning process. A backup file is also retained on their computer system.

A final assessment is conducted at the end of the two stages - these questions are randomly built from all the proceeding progress checks, plus "new/unseen" questions from the final quiz questions.
